Consulate General in Istanbul recommends Russians to leave Turkey

The Russian Consulate General in Istanbul strongly recommended Russian citizens who are in Turkey for tourist purposes to return home as soon as possible in connection with the measures that Ankara is taking to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.


Consultations on returning to the Russian Federation, as noted in the message of the diplomatic mission, can be held by phone: +7 499 678 1203 (hotline of Rosturizm) and +7 495 587 8860 (Department of the Situation and Crisis Center of the Russian Foreign Ministry).
In Turkey, according to the latest data, the number of cases of coronavirus reached 98, one person died.


In the world, more than 173 thousand people in more than 150 countries have been infected with the coronavirus, most of them recovered, and more than 7 thousand  died.
