Cruises from Sochi to cities of Turkey and Alexandria to take place in November and December

Cruise program from Sochi to Egypt supposes call of the liner to cities of Turkey, then the liner will make a stop in Alexandria. The program will start for the first time from a Russian port in November 2023, Miray Cruises' Cruise Manager Eduardo Agajanov told TASS on Friday.

 

"This year we will launch the Magic East program for the first time. According to the specified data, the program of up to 14 days in Egypt involves calling at the famous Turkish resort city of Kusadasi on the Aegean coast, and the farthest point of the route will be the port of Alexandria, which is considered the pearl of the Mediterranean Sea. The first cruise from Sochi will start in November this year", the representative said.

 

He specified that the stopover in Alexandria will last for about three days and after that the liner will return to Russia. Cruises to Egypt are also planned for December 2023.


Earlier Rossiyskaya Gazeta with reference to Director-General of Infoflot cruise center Andrey Mikhailovsky reported that two cruises from Sochi to Egypt are tentatively planned for 2023, the first of them - in April.

Summer program on ancient towns

 

Speaking about the summer program, which first started from Sochi last summer, Agajanov stressed that this year's cruises will start at the end of April.

 

"This year tourists will enjoy 29 exciting week-long cruises in Turkey. All cruises are from the home port of Sochi, the first of them is planned for April 29, 2023," he said.

 

The basis of the cruise season will be in Turkey. Clients will be offered several itineraries, which will include stops in ancient cities - Istanbul, Amasra, Ephesus, as well as visits to chamber excursions and the best beaches on the Aegean coast.


Special holiday cruises to Trabzon, Unye and Istanbul will round out the 2023 season. New this season will be three-day and four-day New Year's Eve tours to Turkey.

 

"Passengers do not need a visa to visit Turkey and Egypt, all personnel speak Russian, and there is an opportunity to use Russian payment systems on board the liner," Agajanov added.

 

The seaport of Sochi is capable of receiving up to five cruise passenger ships simultaneously, including up to four passenger liners and ferries.
