CSTO Plans Seven Exercises for Organization's Forces in 2024

The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has scheduled seven joint military exercises for 2024, to be conducted on the territories of Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. CSTO Secretary-General Imangali Tasmagambetov announced this during a meeting of the Council and the sixteenth plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the organization.

 

The planned exercises will involve various units, including the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Force, the Collective Rapid Reaction Force of the Central Asian region, the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces, intelligence logistics forces, management bodies, and special-purpose formations of the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Force.
