Date of the meeting of the Foreign and Defense Ministers of Russia and Turkey will be agreed additionally

The date of the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Russia and Turkey, scheduled for June 14, will be agreed additionally, a message posted on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry on Sunday reads.


"On behalf of the presidents of Russia and Turkey, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense of the two countries are actively working in support of the Libyan settlement," the message said. "The experts are in contact in the interests of an early agreement on a ceasefire, as well as the establishment of an inter-Libyan negotiation process in the political and economic areas under the auspices of the United Nations in accordance with the decisions of the Berlin international conference of January 19 and the UN Security Council resolution 2510."


"The work continues. The date of the meeting of the Foreign and Defense Ministers of the two countries will be agreed upon additionally, " the Russian Foreign Ministry added.


On June 13, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that the Russian Foreign and Defense Ministers will travel to Turkey on June 14 for interdepartmental consultations on regional issues.
