Days of culture of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Uzbekistan opened in Tashkent. According to the press service of Rossotrudnichestvo, the event is organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rosconcert with organizational and information support of Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the opening ceremony, it was stressed that over the past three years, relations between the two countries have gained unprecedented development, especially in the field of culture. There are museum exchanges, theatrical tours between the regions of Russia and Uzbekistan and a lot more.
The program of the Days of culture of Russia in Uzbekistan, among other things, includes a performance of the Lezginka group in Samarkand and the international film forum in Tashkent.
"The events, which will be held in several cities, are designed to strengthen cultural ties between the two countries," the website of Rossotrudnichestvo reports.
