Terrorists are planning a staged chemical attack in the village of Kabana in Idlib province in Syria, Rear Admiral Alexander Karpov, Deputy Head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of the Warring Parties in the Syrian Arab Republic, said at a briefing.
He noted that the Center received information that militants of the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham terrorist group (banned in Russia) were preparing a provocation in the Idlib de-escalation zone.
"The terrorists are planning a staged chemical attack in a specially built camp in the village of Kabana in Idlib province, involving residents of the province as victims and casualties to accuse the Syrian government forces of using chemical weapons against civilians," Karpov said.
