As the press service of the Russia Muftis Council (RMC) states, the guests were received by the head of International Department of the Muftis Council Ildar Galeev and the leading specialist of the International Department Artur Gubaydullin, who told guests about the history of the temple, showed the Museum of the Muslim temple, and answered their questions, particularly about the history and development of Islam in Russia, projects being implemented by Russian Muslims, and contacts of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation and the RMC with Indonesian partners.
In particular, Galeev said that the capital of Indonesia, Jakarta, during months hosted a unique exhibition "Traditions of Islam in Russia", dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Indonesia.
Indonesian delegates thanked the Russian side for the warm welcome and expressed hope for the development and strengthening of relations between the two countries.
