A delegation from Saudi Arabia, led by the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Issa, arrived in the Chechen Republic at the personal invitation of the head of the region, Ramzan Kadyrov.
Guests from the Kingdom will take part in events dedicated to the first President of the Chechen Republic, Hero of Russia Akhmat-Haji Kadyrov. August 23 will mark the 68th anniversary of his birth.
Today the mufti of Chechnya Salah Haji Mezhiev met the Saudi delegation at the airport "Grozny". It is expected that the Secretary-General of the World Muslim League will take part in the opening of the mosque named after Ramzan Kadyrov in Shali, which is named as "Pride of Muslims", and the seventh school of the Qur'an Hafiz in the country.
