First Deputy Chairman of the RMC Rushan Hazrat Abbyasov took part in the regular working meeting of the General Secretariat of the World Council of Muslim Communities in Abu Dhabi.
According to the press service of the RMC, during his speech, the religious figure noted that in a short period the Supreme Council managed to build partnerships with government agencies, scientific, public and religious circles of Russia.
"I am confident that joint work, coordination of positions, active cooperation between the UAE and Russia will effectively present Islam to the world in its true form, based on the principles of mutual respect, good neighborliness and tolerance," the press service of the RMC quotes Abbyasov.
The General Secretariat of the World Council of Muslim Communities, in turn, highly appreciated the activities of the Russian Muftis Council and the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, confirming the intention to continue to support the positive dynamics of relations with the Muslim community of the Russian Federation.
