Deputy Foreign Ministers of Russia and Turkey Discuss High-Level Contact Schedule

Russian Deputy Foreign Ministers Sergei Vershinin and Alexander Grushko met with their Turkish counterpart, Mehmet Kemal Bozay, to discuss energy projects and the schedule of upcoming high-level contacts, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports following the consultations.

 

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on key topics of the Russia-Turkey agenda, including the implementation of strategic projects in the fields of economy and energy. The schedule for future high-level and top-level contacts was also reviewed.

 

In addition, they addressed pressing regional and international issues under consideration by the UN Security Council and General Assembly. In this context, practical cooperation between Russia and Turkey at UN forums, including UN Security Council reform and matters related to the adoption and implementation of the Future Pact, was discussed.
