Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia discussed with the Minister of Tourism of Tunisia the resumption of tourist flows

Russian President's Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov discussed on Tuesday with Tunisian Tourism Minister Habib Amar, who is on a working visit to Moscow, the resumption of tourist exchanges and the fight against the coronavirus.


"Particular attention was paid to the problems of resuming tourist and cultural exchanges and cooperation in combating the new coronavirus infection," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.


Tunisian Ambassador to Moscow Tarek Ben Salem also took part in the conversation.


According to the diplomatic mission, the sides discussed topical issues of the further progressive development of Russian-Tunisian multifaceted relations, including those based on the mechanism of the Russian-Tunisian intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation.
