Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia and Russia Mher Grigoryan and Alexey Overchuk discussed issues of humanitarian assistance to the residents of Nagorno-Karabakh and activities of the trilateral working group, in which Azerbaijan also takes part, at a meeting in Yerevan. This was reported by the press service of the Armenian government on Thursday.

"The parties discussed the issues of humanitarian assistance to the residents of Artsakh (unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic - TASS), the prospects for deepening the Armenian-Russian cooperation in the economy, energy, transport, agriculture, infrastructure and health. It was also discussed the activities of a trilateral working group headed by the Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia," the report reads.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a joint statement on the full cessation of hostilities in Karabakh on November 9 last year. According to the document, the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides stopped at the occupied positions, a number of areas came under Baku's control, and Russian peacekeepers were deployed along the line of contact and the Lachin corridor. On January 11, following a meeting in Moscow between Putin, Aliyev and Pashinyan, a joint statement was signed, which, in particular, provided for the establishment of a trilateral working group at the level of deputy prime ministers to unblock all economic and transport ties in the region.
