EEU leaders to hold a meeting in the format of a video conference

On April 14, the leaders of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) will hold a meeting. According to Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), it will be held in a video format.


One of the main topics of discussion, according to him, will be joint measures to respond to the situation with the spread of the coronavirus.


"It is planned to hold a working meeting on April 14, also via videoconference, of the heads of state (EEU – ed.) in order to exchange views on the current situation and to outline some steps, including in the field of employment, in the sphere of small and medium-sized businesses," Myasnikovich said, in particular.


On May 19, a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will be held, where it is also planned to discuss the most topical issues.


The EEU unites Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Moldova.
