More than 3 thousand Russians remain in Indonesia, who want to return to their homeland due to the coronavirus pandemic, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Russian Embassy.
“There are about 3,400 people in Indonesia now,” the press service of the diplomatic mission noted, in particular.
The next export flight from Indonesia, according to the embassy, is scheduled for May 3.
Russia, against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic, stopped regular and charter flights with other countries on March 27. The exception is export flights, as well as cargo, postal, sanitary and humanitarian flights and flights carried out according to individual decisions of the Government of the Russian Federation.
Since March 31, Russia has reduced the number of export flights and has also set limits on the number of arriving passengers. Now, the arrival of Russians from foreign countries to Moscow is carried out only through the Sheremetyevo airport, not more than 500 people a day, or to the airports of other subjects of the Russian Federation - no more than 200 people a day.
