EMERCOM Board arrived in Kazakhstan with humanitarian aid for COVID-19

A special Board of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation with humanitarian cargo arrived in the capital of Kazakhstan on Wednesday, and several more flights are expected in the near future, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic reported.


"In the course of joint agreements on combating the COVID-19 Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin with the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, July 8, Nur-Sultan received a special aircraft of the MES of the Russian Federation with humanitarian cargo for Kazakhstan",  the message on the website of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan reads.


The information specifies that the Russian humanitarian aid includes medical masks, protective clothing sets and medicine. "The sole operator of the humanitarian aid in Kazakhstan is TOO "SK-Pharmacia". Several more flights with humanitarian cargo from Russia are expected in the near future. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan expresses its gratitude to the government and the fraternal people of Russia for their support in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic noted.
