Emergency G20 summit on coronavirus will be held on March 26

The emergency G20 summit will be held on March 26 in a video conference format. This was reported by Kyodo News Agency, with reference to the Japanese government.

On March 18, Saudi Arabia, which chairs the G20 this year, announced its plan to convene an extraordinary summit of the Association in a virtual format.


The main topic of discussion should be the situation with the coronavirus.


According to the latest data, more than 350 thousand people have been infected with the coronavirus in the world, and about 16 thousand people died. 438 cases of infection were registered in Russia.
