Incumbent Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan gained 49.35% of the vote with 100% of the ballot boxes counted in Sunday's presidential election, while a single opposition candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu got 45%, the state-run TRT TV channel reported on Monday.

Sinan Ogan, the third candidate of the ATA Alliance, received 5.22%. Muharrem Ince, who withdrew his candidacy, received 0.43% of votes. The Turkish CEC considers the votes cast for him valid.
To win in the first round, one of the candidates had to receive 50% plus one vote. A second round of voting has been set for May 28.
