Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan plans to hold a phone conversation with US President Joe Biden on Monday night, as well as with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, the Turkish leader's official spokesman, Ibrahim Kalin, said.

"A conversation with Biden is planned for Monday night. There are also plans to hold telephone talks with Putin, but the exact date has not yet been set. There will also be contacts with many other leaders," he told A Haber.

Kalin added that during the day Erdogan plans to talk "with the leaders of Germany, France, Israel, Greece, Spain, the NATO secretary-general, the leaders of the Netherlands and Ukraine." "All these talks are scheduled for today," he noted.

Kalin also did not name the exact date for the inauguration ceremony. "The date has not yet been determined. At the moment, the president's main goal is to quickly form a cabinet of ministers. But in 2018, the inauguration took place with broad participation [of foreign representatives]. We will hold it where the president delivered his speech after the elections (meaning the square in front of the Bestepe presidential complex in Ankara - TASS). The population, as well as foreign representatives, will again take part in the inauguration. I can't tell the exact number of participants, but it is thousands of people," said Kalin.

On May 28, the second round of the presidential election was held, according to its results, the Turkish Supreme Electoral Council recognized the victory of Erdogan, who, after processing 99.43% of the ballots, received 52.14% of the vote, with 47.86% of the vote for the opposition candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu.
