On November 5, 2024, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will arrive in Kyrgyzstan for a state visit, according to Muratbek Azymbakiev, head of foreign policy for the Kyrgyz presidential administration.
Azymbakiev announced that Erdogan's visit will include private discussions between the presidents of Turkey and Kyrgyzstan, as well as the 6th session of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council under the leadership of the two presidents. The council meeting is expected to cover a wide range of topics related to Kyrgyz-Turkish relations.
Following the visit, several bilateral agreements are anticipated to be signed, aimed at enhancing strategic cooperation and further strengthening ties between the two nations, Azymbakiev stated.
On November 6, Erdoğan will also attend the Turkic States Organization summit, which will be held in Bishkek.
