Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has reaffirmed his country’s commitment to deepening its relationship with Russia across various sectors. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF2025), Erdoğan emphasized that Turkey's foreign policy is guided by principles rather than hidden agendas.
“Our relations with Russia are developing comprehensively, and we are determined to take them further,” he stated.
Erdoğan also highlighted his ongoing communication with both Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump, particularly on the issue of Syria. “We maintain dialogue and mutual understanding with President Trump and President Putin on ensuring Syria’s territorial integrity,” he added.
