The European Parliament (EP) aligns with the position of the French Foreign Ministry and strongly condemns the attacks carried out by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank, said EP President Roberta Metsola.
"Yes, this is the position of the European Parliament," she stated in response to a related question during an interview on France Inter radio station.
On October 29, the French Foreign Ministry issued a statement urging Israeli authorities to promptly safeguard the Palestinian population in the West Bank. The ministry also denounced the assaults on Palestinians and the intimidation they faced from settlers.
