On April 15, the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), together with the HSE School of Oriental studies, will hold an online discussion on the topic "The Libyan crisis: current state and prospects for settlement".
According to the RIAC website, the participants will discuss the ethno-confessional and tribal factor in the coordinate system of the political crisis.
Special attention will be paid to the regional dimension of conflict, competition and external interference.
The experts will present their vision of the international dimension of the conflict (post-Geneva process, the UN, the EU and the African Union) and scenarios for the development of the situation (military solution, political settlement or freezing of the conflict).
The broadcast starts on the Zoom platform on April 15 at 15:00.
Registration is required. Strict regulations will be applied during the event.
