Its spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh said in a statement that "Israel has embarked on a path of widespread confrontation with the Palestinian people."
"Provocations by Jewish settlers are taking place in East Jerusalem, and aggressive actions have spread from Jenin to Gaza and now to Nablus, with the number of victims and casualties increasing," the document stressed.
According to Abu Rudeineh, "the Israeli government is not interested in establishing stability and acts based on its electoral interests."
