The recent Israeli forces' strike near Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City killed at least six Palestinians, as reported by the Iranian news agency Tasnim. The strike specifically targeted the area adjacent to the obstetrics and gynecology department, causing panic among the patients.
Further reports from Al Mayadeen, citing the Palestinian Ministry of Health, highlighted additional attacks. The maternity hospital within the Al-Shifa medical complex was hit by artillery fire, killing one adult and injuring a child.
Prior to this, it was disclosed that over 120 medical facilities in Gaza had been affected by Israeli military action. According to the Palestinian movement Hamas, 18 hospitals and 40 other medical centers have ceased operations due to shelling and fuel shortages.
