Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed the Middle East situation with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, a source in the Turkish Foreign Ministry told TASS.

"On February 3, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone conversation with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi. The two sides discussed bilateral issues, as well as the situation in Syria and developments in Palestine," the source stated.

A day earlier, on February 2, Fidan visited Qatar, where he held talks with Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. The discussions focused on Syria and the situation in Palestine, particularly in light of ceasefire agreements.

Turkey is actively engaged in diplomatic efforts to unite regional countries in support of Middle East conflict resolution and Syria’s reconstruction. Jordan is one of Turkey’s key partners in these efforts.
