Finnish-Russian actor and director Ville Haapasalo presented a film about the multiculturalism of Tatarstan, the peaceful coexistence of representatives of different faiths, peoples, and languages.
The presentation of the documentary was supported by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Finland, the Russian trade mission, as well as the Trade and economic representation of the Republic of Tatarstan in Finland. Ville Haapasalo admitted that he was pleasantly surprised by the cultural diversity and the presence of many religious traditions, peoples and language groups in Tatarstan and their peaceful coexistence. He tried to highlight this in his film.
Filmmaking took place this Summer-from June 23 to July 3 at different locations. The picture is available on the Kalastus TV platform.
