The perpetrators of Monday's terrorist attack near the Russian embassy in Kabul will be found and punished, Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Sirodjiddin Mukhriddin expressed confidence in this before a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Moscow.
"I am sure that these elements who organized this bombing will be found in the near future, and at least collectively we, if we succeed, will take some measures," he said.
Mukhriddin also expressed his condolences to Lavrov in connection with the death of members of the Russian embassy in Afghanistan.
Earlier, the Russian MFA reported that on Monday, an unidentified militant detonated an explosive device in the immediate vicinity of the entrance to the consular section of the Russian embassy in Kabul. As a result of the attack, two employees of the diplomatic mission were killed and Afghan citizens were also injured.
