On the initiative of the Algerian side, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with the Foreign Minister of Algeria, Sabri Boukadoum.
According to the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between Russia and Algeria in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, including the possibility of providing appropriate assistance from the Russian side.
They also touched upon certain aspects of the further development of multifaceted Russian-Algerian relations.
