On the sidelines of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Foreign Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt Sameh Shoukry.
According to the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the parties discussed issues of further expansion of Russian-Egyptian relations of multi-profile partnership.
They also exchanged views on the development of the situation in the Middle East and North Africa and expressed their intention to strengthen bilateral foreign policy cooperation in regional and international affairs.
