Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held telephone talks with the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the state of Qatar Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
The parties discussed topical issues of further development of multifaceted Russian-Qatari relations, including increasing joint efforts to deepen business cooperation, cultural, humanitarian and other contacts between the two countries.
The intention of Moscow and Doha to continue regular dialogue on key issues on the bilateral and international agenda was confirmed.
