Foreign Ministers of Russia and Turkey discussed stabilization in Syria and Libya

Foreign Ministers of Russia and Turkey Sergey Lavrov and Mevlut Cavusoglu held telephone talks, the main topics of which were the peace process in Syria and the promotion of stabilization of the situation in Libya. According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the telephone conversation was initiated by the Turkish side.


"The ministers discussed the peace process in Syria, including efforts to provide humanitarian aid to Syrians and the prospects for the two countries working together to help stabilize the situation in Libya," the message reads.


Yesterday the Turkish delegation arrived in Moscow to discuss with the Russian side the coordination of the Syrian Idlib, as well as the issue of the entry of Turkish troops into Libya.
