According to the press service of the Russian MFA, the parties discussed the current development in Syrian political settlement.
The ministers reaffirmed their mutual interest in the prompt completion of the formation of Syria's Constitutional Committee and the beginning of its work.
Special attention was paid to the situation in the Idlib de-escalation zone. The parties stressed the importance of coordinating efforts to counter the terrorism in order to implement the Memorandum on the stabilization of the situation in the Idlib de-escalation zone, which was signed on September 17, 2018, on the results of Russian-Turkish talks in Sochi.
