Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will visit Azerbaijan on June 23-24; meetings with President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov are planned, Russian MFA spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
"On June 23-24, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will pay a working visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan. Negotiations with the foreign minister are planned, a meeting with the president is expected. We mean to consider the whole range of issues of further development of bilateral relations," said Zakharova at a briefing held on the sidelines of the SPIEF.
She also added that during the visit to Baku, "a number of regional and international issues are planned to discuss and consider, special attention will be paid to the progress of implementation of trilateral agreements" between Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
