Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, commenting on the opening of the Dudayev terrorist park in Turkey, said that such actions are contrary to the spirit of relations between the two countries, and Moscow expects Ankara to take Russia's signals seriously.

According to Zakharova, Russia has expressed its absolute rejection of any forms, practices, types of glorification of terrorists, militants, extremists, and this is Moscow's principled position.

"Such attempts are unacceptable and require certainly the strongest condemnation by the entire international community. We must be united here. They contradict the spirit, including Russian-Turkish relations and mutually beneficial cooperation, the preservation and strengthening of which our heads of state pay so much attention to," Zakharova said at the briefing.

"We expect that our signals about the inadmissibility of such steps undermining mutual trust will be taken seriously by the Turkish side," she stressed.

Earlier, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov called the decision of Turkish authorities to name one of the parks after a terrorist who tried to take over the Russian region painful for Chechen residents, so the emotional reaction of the region's head, Ramzan Kadyrov, is understandable.

Earlier in his Telegram channel, Kadyrov wrote a post in which he accused the Turkish authorities of supporting terrorists who have committed crimes in Russia and called on the Russian Foreign Ministry to take diplomatic measures against this country.
