Meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov and a delegation of the Libyan House of Representatives took place in Moscow.
As reported on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of traditionally friendly Russian-Libyan relations, including contacts at various levels.
There was also an exchange of views on the current situation in and around Libya, taking into account the decisions of the 12th extraordinary session of Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union, which was held in the capital of Niger, Niamey, on 7 July.
