The Russians who are in Qatar will fly home soon, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova wrote on her Facebook page.
"The Russians stuck in Doha will soon fly to Russia. Thank you, Qatar, for your assistance", the diplomat said in particular.
Yesterday Zakharova said that the Russian agencies and the Qatari authorities were making every effort to get the Russians stuck there to fly home.
Since March 31, Russia has reduced the number of charters for the export of Russians from abroad, as well as established restrictions on the number of arriving passengers. Now planes with evacuated Russians will only fly to Sheremetyevo, no more than 500 people per day, and to airports in other regions - no more than 200 people per day.
