Appeals for the confrontation of states can lead to the international anarchy. French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian has made a statement about it.
According to him, today more and more loudly there are statements that the relations of states should not be based on cooperation, but on the confrontation of powers, which runs the risk of transition "into some form of international anarchy".
Furthermore, Le Drian emphasized that nowdays “the main principles and foundations of international life are scattered into fragments”, and “institutions, treaties, earlier promises and boundaries are not respected”.
According to the Foreign Minister, the blame for this, lies with US President Donald Trump, but "China and Russia can also play their part in these imbalances".
