The Gaza Health Ministry has announced that the death toll from the Israeli military operation in the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has surpassed 30,000.
"In total, the casualties from the Israeli forces' military operation in Gaza now stand at 30,035," stated the ministry in a statement quoted by Al Jazeera. Additionally, the ministry reported that 70,457 Palestinians have been injured as a result of the conflict.
In the past day alone, the violence escalated further, with 81 Palestinians being killed and 132 sustaining injuries during bombardments and shelling of populated areas by Israeli forces in the Strip.
