Authorities in Gaza have reported a significant decrease in the flow of humanitarian aid into the enclave. According to Lebanon’s Al Mayadeen TV channel, citing Gaza’s government media office, the number of aid trucks entering the territory over the past two days has fallen to just 30% of expected levels.
This reduction comes amid growing tensions. On February 10, Abu Ubaida, a spokesperson for Hamas' military wing, warned that the group might withdraw from an existing deal, accusing Israel of violating its terms. However, on February 13, Hamas announced that it had reached an agreement with Egyptian mediators to maintain the deal in its original form in exchange for continued humanitarian aid and fuel deliveries.
