Gaza Strip Starvation Deaths Reach 20 as Humanitarian Crisis Intensifies

07 March

Al Mayadeen reports that the number of Palestinians who have died from starvation in hospitals in the Gaza Strip has increased to 20. This figure was highlighted following the death of a 15-year-old teenager in one of the hospitals in the Gaza Strip, marking a significant increase in starvation-related deaths.

The channel further notes that the United Nations has reported that approximately 85% of the residents of the Palestinian enclave have been displaced from their homes, facing severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicine. Additionally, it is reported that around 60% of buildings and structures in the Gaza Strip have been damaged or completely destroyed. Since October 7, Israeli army strikes have resulted in the deaths of more than 30,700 Palestinians, with a disproportionate number of casualties being women and children.
