NATO must be dissolved because the alliance is a threat to world security. Such an opinion in the article for the publication Die Freiheitsliebe was expressed by the deputy of the Bundestag from the Left Party, Alexander Noah.
According to the politician, this structure is hopelessly outdated, and uses military force exclusively «to protect its imperialist interests», systematically violating international law.
According to Noah, NATO showed its «true face» when it attacked Yugoslavia, Afghanistan and a number of the countries.
An alternative to NATO after its dissolution should be a new collective security system, in which Russia must also take part.
