In June this year, the Group of Strategic Vision «Russia-Islamic World» will be presented at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. The President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who heads the group on behalf of Vladimir Putin, declared this at the International Economic Summit “Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit 2019”.
It is known that the Group of Strategic Vision «Russia-Islamic World» was established in 2006 on the initiative of a Russian Statesman, Diplomat Yevgeny Primakov and the First President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev.
Now GSV unites 33 well-known state and public figures from 27 countries of the world.
Among the members of the Group are former Prime Ministers and Foreign Ministers, as well as major theologians and religious figures from such countries as Morocco, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait, etc.
