Hamas: Netanyahu Resumes Aggression Against Civilians in Gaza

18 March

The Palestinian movement Hamas has accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government of resuming attacks against civilians in Gaza.

"Netanyahu and his government have resumed their aggression and genocidal war against the defenseless civilian population of Gaza," Hamas stated in a Telegram communiqué.

The group placed full responsibility on Netanyahu for the consequences of Israel’s renewed offensive in the enclave.

"Netanyahu and his government have rejected the ceasefire agreement, dooming the captives in Gaza to an uncertain fate," Hamas declared.

Earlier reports indicated that the Israeli Air Force had carried out a series of strikes on major population centers in Gaza, including Khan Younis and Rafah in the south, as well as Gaza City, Jabalia, and the Nuseirat refugee camp.

According to Al Jazeera, at least 109 people were killed and more than 70 injured in the airstrikes. The report noted that Israeli warplanes conducted dozens of raids in less than 10 minutes.
