The Chairman of the Chinese Islamic Association, Hasan Yang Famin, sent a letter to the Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslins of the Russian Federation and the Russian Muftis Council, mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, on the need to consolidate efforts in the fight against coronavirus.
According to the press service of the RMC, the head of Chinese Muslims stressed that only by joint efforts and necessary preventive measures by civil society and relevant government agencies, the international community will be able to minimize the consequences of the pandemic.
Yang Famin thanked the RMC and the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation for the letter sent earlier with words of support to the Chinese Muslim community during the exacerbation of the epidemic in China and stressed that this indicates the strong fraternal ties between Russia and China.
