Head of Russian RBM Calls Haniyeh's Murder an Act of Aggression

Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, head of the Religious Board of Muslims (RBM) of the Russian Federation, has expressed condolences over the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Hamas political bureau. He described the murder as an act of aggression against the future of the Palestinian people. This statement was shared on the RBM’s Telegram channel.

 

"Russian Muslims view the killing as an attack on the interests and future of the Palestinian people. We are confident that the Palestinian people would overcome this challenge through unity and determination," the mufti said.

 

Gainutdin extended condolences to the Palestinian people, sharing in their grief and recalling Haniyeh's visits to the Moscow Cathedral Mosque. He expressed hope and prayers for the soul of the late political leader.
