India urges to convene an international summit against terrorism

India proposes to convene an international summit against terrorism. This was announced by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi at the summit of the heads of the SCO member states, which is being held in Bishkek.

 

 


According to him, in recent days he visited Sri Lanka, where he was in one of the churches in which the terrorist attack took place.

 

 


“It's terrible, so all the humanitarian forces of our countries should unite to fight terrorism. Those countries that support and finance terrorism must take responsibility”, - Indian prime minister said.

 

 


"India calls for an international summit to counter terrorism", - Modi added.

 

 


The SCO includes eight countries: India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Four states have observer status (Mongolia, Iran, Afghanistan and Belarus), six countries are dialogue partners (Sri Lanka, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Cambodia and Nepal).
