By the end of June, the reserves of low-enriched uranium in Iran will exceed the volumes prescribed in the nuclear deal (300 kilograms). This was stated by the representative of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Behruz Kamalvandi.
“Today begins the overcoming of the 300 kilograms enriched uranium storage ceiling, which will last 10 days, in other words, on June 27, we will overcome this ceiling,” the official said, whose performance was shown by Iranian state television.
Earlier, Tehran announced the suspension of the implementation of several paragraphs of the agreement on the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan on the Iranian nuclear program.
The Iranian authorities made a statement on the anniversary of the withdrawal from the Washington transaction.
