Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Iran, Head of the Organization for Trade Development of the country Hamid Zadboom thanked Russia for its readiness to provide Iran with "basic goods" during the pandemic.
"As far as I know, the Chairman of the State Duma stated that Russia is ready to provide Iran with basic goods in the event that it is necessary for Iran. We are grateful to the friendly Russian side for willingness to cooperate," the official said RIA Novosti.
Answering a question about a possible increase in agricultural supplies from Russia to Iran, Zadboom did not specify whether there was any final decision on this issue and noted that Tehran would be ready to increase exports as soon as the necessary conditions were created for this.
