Iran's relations with Russia and Turkey have reached a historic high level, Iranian Government Spokesman Ali Rabiei told reporters.
“Our relations with Russia and Turkey are at the highest level of their entire history”, - Rabiei was quoted by the IRIB radio and television corporation as saying.
He added that "Tehran’s key strategy on the international arena is to establish a dialogue with its neighbors in the region".
Today Ankara is hosting a trilateral summit on Syria with the participation of Vladimir Putin, Hassan Rouhani and Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
On the sidelines of the summit, Vladimir Putin will hold separate bilateral meetings with his Iranian and Turkish counterparts.
