Iran has communicated through diplomatic channels to the United States its desire to prevent further escalation in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, according to Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
"In response to the US, we said that Iran does not want the war to spread. However, due to the approach adopted by the US and Israel in the region, if the crimes against the residents of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank do not stop, any option [of developments] is possible, and a wider conflict may be inevitable," he told Britain's Financial Times.
